Specifications for the contract
High density polyethylene co-extruded twin-wall pipe, plain and white internally and corrugated and black externally for underground sewer ducts not under pressure manufactured in compliance with the prEN 13476-1 type B standard, certified by the P IIP/a mark and by UNI 10968/1 type B rule certified by UNI/IIP mark issued by the Istituto Italiano dei Plastici (Italian Institute for Plastic Materials) stiffness class corresponding to SN 4 (or 8) kN/m2, produced in 6 or 12 meter bars with jointing by means of a PEAD coupling, P IIP/a and UNI/IIP mark and EPDM lip seal. Pipe must be produced by ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certified companies (environmental certification).

2. Ring stiffness class SN measured on samples according to EN ISO 9969 standard.
3. Abrasion resistance certified according to EN 295-3.
4. Tightness of the jointing system certified at 0.5 bar under pressure and 0.3 bar under negative pressure for 15 minutes according to EN 1277 rule.
5. Ring stiffress with application of constant load for 24 hours according to DIN 16961-2.
6. Marking according to the standard, including: trade-mark name, UNI/IIP mark and standard reference, P IIP/a mark and standard reference, nominal diameter (DN/OD), stiffness class, material, prophile type, application area code, day/month/year, hour/minute of production.
7. Other quality marks required:
- CSTBatFrench mark
- UGerman mark
- AENORSpanish mark



Flow rate table pipe filling 95%
The calculation has been made by the GAUCKLER – STRICKER method.
The roughness parameter suggested by ASTM for standard ducts with manholes, adapters, bends and gully pots: Ks = 80.
The suggested velocities are: 
- 0.5 to 4 m/s for black waters
- 0.5 to 7 m/s for rainwater.
