respects the environment
The rapid structural and organizational evolution that
characterized the company in the last few years brought
about the decision to optimize the management of all
aspects connected with the impact on the environment, such
as:
- emissions in the air,
- drainage in receiving waters,
- limitation, recycling, reuse, transport and disposal of
waste, in particular of dangerous waste,
- use of natural resources and raw materials (energy
included),
- soil pollution,
- ability to handle emergency situations,
by structuring procedures and working instructions,
through the implementation of the SGA system
(environmental management system) that concerns the entire
staff at all levels for the attainment of goals that are
beyond the requirements provided for by the law.
 The
SGA system has become a fundamental part of our culture
and the interest in these subjects is an integral part of
the business policy of Industrie Polieco-M.P.B.
There is no margin of error for any act of negligence and
every person is not only responsible for his own safety
but also for the others' safety. The liability of each
single person and the belief that prevention is the first
important factor is our leading principle.
Our commitment in 2005 lead us to obtain, at the end of
the year, the ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION in compliance
with the
international standard UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 for our
production factories in Cazzago S.Martino (BS) and in
Conza della Campania (AV) in June 2006.
 This
International Standard includes, as an alternative,
examples, descriptions and options that help improve the
SGA and consolidate its relationship with the global
management of the organization.
Based on these premises, we can say that the series of
standards UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 help support facilities
and organizations concerned with environmental problems
all over the world, demonstrate our commitment in the
environmental protection and management and go far beyond
the respect of the rules.
Beside the observance of the law requirements, we have
other aims that we share with our distributors and
suppliers: to protect the environment by suitable design,
production, use and disposal procedures.
